The concentration of suspended solids in ceramic wastewater can reach up to 5000 mg/L. Given the unique properties of ceramic wastewater, where ceramic clay colloidal particles carry a negative charge and exhibit stability, the treatment typically involves the use of polyacrylamide and polyaluminum chloride to neutralize the negative charge of the colloidal particles.
